Greetings dear people,
HELLO! Here’s hoping this finds you healthy and doing well with all of it…I’m doing fine. Many intense changes, but we’re weathering it. I certainly miss practicing my craft and interacting with the wonderful people that teaching has brought into my life for so many years.
My online home teaching studio is open.
Online Alexander study is, of course, a different animal. Most obviously is the absence of hands-on guidance. Thankfully, I've learned that I can really see and guide you. Verbal and visual guidance comes through and reaches the student. The Alexander principles do transmit. Change happens in online lessons. I invite you to give it a try.
It's possible to mediate the demands of the ever-present screen, dynamically including the whole, three-dimensional self in the equation. It’s possible to choose to breathe freely and locate brightly in the present moment, affirming and claiming our humanity in challenging times. The life skills that Alexander cultivates are especially relevant in our current situation.

Online Private lessons. The lesson shapes around your individual needs and interests. Work on a monologue, song or presentation, or simply on staying lively while sitting.. examine daily life activities… cultivate a calm readiness.
Small Online Study Groups (minimum 2; maximum 5 people). Take part in an enjoyable, shared learning experience. In these small study groups, everyone receives individual attention from Judith. We work together engaging the Alexander principles through shared activities, focused discussion and directed embodiment. Develop your Alexander lens, refining your observation skills. What we sense/see in others directly informs our own kinesthetic experience and options.
Consider gathering a few pals from around the globe, creating a small group of friends to refresh your Alexander toolboxes. This is a medium where working with those who are geographically far away is possible — a delightful prospect.
I still envision offering a large zoom class (free or donation)… coming soon, hopefully…
